Due to unprecedented demand in recent weeks we have taken the decision to change how we use the system. The online service will close for requests at 4pm and re-open for requests at 8:00am. If your request is urgent outside of these hours please call the surgery or call NHS111. Please note: AskmyGP may be switched off on OCCASIONS due to the overwhelming amount of requests and will be switched back on when it is safely manageable.

We apologise if any inconvenience is caused. When using AskmyGP please be aware that if you send in a request a clinician may want to call you so please have your telephone to hand at all times. If your phone blocks unknown/withheld numbers then please let us know in your query. The clinician will attempt to call you 3 times and if they cannot reach you they will need to close the query.

We use a system called askmyGP which is an easy and fast way to ask for any kind of help from the practice. Available 24/7 and we respond during working. Clinics & Services In addition to GP consultations the practice adheres to the General Medical Services Contract for the provision of healthcare services: Essential Services Asthma COPD Coronary heart disease.
Here you can find out how to register at our practice and read other important information for patients. The practice is registered and complies with the Data Protection Act 1998. Any request for access to notes by a patient, patient's representative or outside body will be dealt with.

Absolute joke this place. Constant so called issues with phone lines, online mygp appointment system down again. Not surprised the hospitals get over run with minor illnesses when its impossible to get intouch or gain an appointment with a gp.

They sometimes get it wrong but don't we all, Hearing you number 9 in the queue everytime me or my partner rings made me think they must be never off the phone lines, if you don't mind abit of a wait it's all good,I've got a good doctor that understands n listens which is the main reason I go here.

Impossible to get an appointment for my little girl, even though already had to ring 111 & previously been seen at hospital. Needs antibiotics but appointment system prevents even being able to ensure same day appointment. Told me just take her a&e!!! 😡😡😡😡

I have the app, but it never allows me to book an appointment it just tells me to ring. What is the point of having this feature on the app if it can't be used!?

OK once you get past office staff. It seems like the tail is wagging the dog since this system has been changed. It might be better for some, just isn't for a lot of patients ie spending more time on the phone waiting to try and speak to somebody medical. Unnecessary return trips when mistakes are made to prescription orders or trying to see a doctor.

Horrible system now that you cant phone up and talk to a doctor... anxiety and depression but you have to go through an app... well i cant and wont so me and my children have to suffer from now on or just go a/e with everything drom now on

Yet again my repeat prescription was incorrect. My own GP authorizes 2 months worth of medication at a time, however there is only ever 1 months worth when I go to collect. This happens on a monthly basis despite many failed promises that the error will be rectified. When I complain the staff are very unhelpful and almost unhappy because you are asking them to do something.They just do not grasp the frustration and knock on effect that this causes. It has gone on for way too long and I have no confidence in them. They assure me that they will put something through to my own doctor, only time will

Phoned up 5 times yesterday asking about picking my prescription up the women told me to keep phoning back then got told she would ring me before half 6 what a load of nonsense! My prescription is very important like I explained to the women on the phone she said she understands she said coming from a doctors I am shamed on how forgetful and there interest in patients shocking service think you need a change in doctors

I was gutted when I moved house and had to change my doctors surgery, but i am now glad as they are much better
I can't fault any doctor or nurse that I or my daughter have seen and the reception stuff are lovely, never been the typical doctors receptionists. They have all been friendly, helpful and polite and can't do enough for you. I would highly recommend.
