Services
Our School Council is elected by fellow pupils. Each class from Year 1 to Year 6 has two representatives, each Council serves for one year, with a new Council being elected at the start of every academic year. The School Council support the Senior Leadership Team by making sure the views of the children are heard when important decisions are made.
For each day your child is absent from school for any reason you must telephone the school office on 01483 274961 to explain the absence and send a note on their return to school. The Leave of Absence Request Form can be obtained from the school office.
Medical/dental appointments Please note that whilst the school will grant requests for absence for dental and medical treatments, parents/carers are encouraged, whenever possible, to book dental and medical appointments outside the school day. When appointments during the school hours are unavoidable, the school office should be notified in advance in writing.

We do feel however, that a visit to the school and an opportunity to discuss the particular needs of your child is of great importance in allowing you to make an informed choice and would encourage you to contact us to arrange a visit.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff (including supply staff, volunteers and governors) must ensure that they are aware of these procedures. Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child's welfare.
