My chain came off the bike when I hit a bump, and got wedged between the rear cogs, and the wheel. I walked 1km or so with my bike to the nearest bikeshop which was NipNip, and Jacob fixed it, free of charge, interrupting what he was working on, to sort me out.
That's some top notch service right there. Thanks Jacob, saved my day :)

I asked them to replace my disc brakes - when I went to pick up the bike unfortunately they tried to get me to pay and ride away with faulty brakes. I could tell there was something up, but when I told the mechanic the brake felt spongey, he disagreed. I then gave it a squeeze in front of him and it exploded. Even more disappointingly, at that point neither he or anyone in the shop apologised for this or offered a discount, instead they tried to put the blame on me. At the end of the day, if I hadn't stress-tested the brakes on site before paying I could have easily found out about the shoddy work

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
Long 'walk of shame' back from a ride (forgot mini-pump) and bumped into this place not far from home. Past 5pm on a Monday evening but more than happy to fix the puncture on the spot, well stocked with long valve tubes, super-helpful and nice guys. Top job. Will be doing all my bike stuff with them going forward.

My local bike shop NipNip on Great Suffolk Street have gained another very satisfied customer.
I have had services done before at NipNip but i wanted a few new bits to update/upgrade my 4 year old CAADX. New crank, chain, cassette, cables (break and gear), drop my headset, flat pedals (you really shouldn't have clipless in London, its to dodgy and you realistically gain nothing) and a tweak to my tubeless set up (snapped the plastic tyre lever which went inside).
Throughout the guys where really helpful and showed genuine interest in why is was doing it. Why not right... Anyway Jacob, Peter,

Edit:
I have been contacted twice by the manager of the store / brand.
He tried to explain how his mechanics completed the job within the time given. 3 hours for a gold service, or £60 an hour for labour so he reckons on labour alone he has lost money.
He has asked me to edit my review because what I have written below is not honest or accurate because I am not a mechanic nor do I know the difficulties regarding bikes.
I was also informed that by law he should have contacted the police to confiscate my bike because it's "illegal".
I told him that this job wasn't charged per hour, and if his

I’m absolutely pleased with the excellent service that I’ve received at Nip Nip Shad Thames! The guys are professional mechanics and it’s not just the new shop quickly opened during pandemic. They have been able to sort my Mavic Cosmic Slr wheel, after many shops have refused to touch it because they were not sure of what the problem was. The communication regard costs, before going ahead, was also excellent. Found my new mechanics! Thank you
