Our founder and Managing Director Nick Brown loves bikes and cycling so much he quit his job as a Finance lawyer in the City. Nick started havebike in 2010 having become frustrated at the lack of bicycle shops in the City. Even when he found one, he was told that there was a waiting list of 2 weeks to get his bike serviced!

Theo and the have bike were brilliant. Super fast and convenient service. The quality of the repairs were brilliant. They are also very flexible, I sent my bike in to get a couple of new inner tubes, they let me know a whole host of work required on it but were able to work with me to find just the right amount of service needed to get me back on the move without taking too big a hit at one time.

Good with bikes, but customer service was poor. They fixed my bike well, but there was a delay due to a parts shortage (not their fault), but I had to enquire all the time about my bike's return, whereas I should have been emailed about my bike's return. Didn't hear anything for weeks on end. Could improve on customer care.

Really great service, incredibly quick and, more importantly, clear and honest. Having already had my bike serviced by two different independent places this year, I was unhappy with its performance - I decided to give Havebike a go and I have to say I'm extremely happy so far.
Firstly, the service is just so fast and convenient. For the amount of work needed, I'm seriously impressed they managed to turn it around in one day in the workshop.
Secondly, they were incredibly clear and honest about the work that needed doing, which is something I certainly didn't get from the other places I tried

The communication and delivery times are ok. The pick-up was a week late which was ok and they offered £10 off but never received the actual discount. What is upsetting is the state my bike came back in. The pain work is covered in grease / oil splatter and my grip is not only damaged but covered in black grease. My grip are bright yellow and I really don't appreciate not looking after my bike. My camera holder came loose and moved out of position. I have not had the chance to try the bike yet but I have my doubts just after visual inspection. Definitely would not use again.

Bike had been in shed for 10 years so thought it best to get it made safe or get rid. Impressed with havebike's service. Fact that they picked-up and delivered was a big plus for me. I had to change my mind about both pick-up day and return delivery address and with their excellent communication this all went through smoothly. Their couriers were courteous and, on return, even offered to place the bike where it was wanted to go. Highly recommend.

Communication was absolutely excellent, constant emails and updates about my bike and it was fixed and sent back within 4 days (part had to be ordered so took an extra two days for that.) It was more expensive than I expected but I am not a regular to a bike service so not sure if it’s the going rate but I’m happy with it. Bike looks gorgeous and rides like a dream. I’d recommend them if anything it’s convenient for someone who can’t get to a bike shop. I even asked for a personalised drop off in a secure location and they did it. Thanks Again:)

I have decided to use them to repair my bike, with them as ‘online’, they seems to be very efficient!
I had my bike collected repaired in 2 days, bike returned and the kickstand was broken by them, I had to send back, wait other 2 days to have it delivered. I met Chris very helpful, I have inspected my bike and it is missing the plastic cap in the tire… the seats was absolutely not in the place! I am expecting the second time that the bike has been returned would be the last one, and you would inspect it before delivery but not! I have paid

Having paid £285 for a service from Havebike in May 2021 (2 months ago at time of writing), I had had to since replace both the bottom bracket (which Havebike themselves 'replaced') and the crank arm. They did such a bad job replacing it, they removed one of the seals of the bottom bracket to the crank arm, which then meant that both the bottom bracket and the crank arm have managed to worn away and they've had to be replaced.
On top of this, I have also experienced issued with the brakes, and the gearing since - over 2 months POST servicing.
Avoid these people at all costs. Expensive mistake

I've booked my 'deluxe' service on 20th of February with promise to return my bike on 24th of February. Today is 10th of April and I'm still trying to get my bike back.

Where to start? Total fail, took my money quick enough, failed to ring in advance to advise pick up time. Last pick up time (AM) passed, waited, no call, rang number on site, straight to mobile, tried again used different option - we'll find out what's going on and call back.
