Wow.just wow. Fabulous greeting this evening as four generations decided to have dinner at The Old Beams. Entered a tardis! I've driven past this tiny looking pub many times, but on walking through the door it opened into a beautiful, huge, bright space. Big open fire in the centre and we were shown through to the conservatory. The staff were fantastic, friendly and totally professional and helpful. The food was to die for. Huge portions. Perfectly cooked and presented. My said her pizza was the best ever (apart from grandma's homemade pizza). Mum in law had starter and chips but couldn't finish

Nice atmosphere and well spaced out etc. Checked temp on way in and service was good. We had steaks, fish pie, ribs and sausage and mash, all came out hot and tasty (table of 6). All round a decent meal out and would recommend. No homemade pies left unfortunately but will have to come back earlier in the day to try one! Pictures of the desserts.
