We booked a table at the Old Beams Inn and when we arrived we were well received a warm welcome and we're quickly seated at our table which had old pews installed. The food was served promptly and was very tasty.

Haven't been here for years and it didn't disappoint. Roast Dinner was delicious and staff welcoming and friendly, the only reason for not giving five stars is that we were sat in the conservatory area and it was very cold.

This is a pub with good home cooked basic food with a convivial atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and a cozy fire. It is open everyday from 11:00 till 11:00......a bonus as so many pubs in the area are closed Mon to Wed. Dogs are welcome in the main pub area, but not in the restaurant.

Wow.just wow. Fabulous greeting this evening as four generations decided to have dinner at The Old Beams. Entered a tardis! I've driven past this tiny looking pub many times, but on walking through the door it opened into a beautiful, huge, bright space. Big open fire in the centre and we were shown through to the conservatory. The staff were fantastic, friendly and totally professional and helpful. The food was to die for. Huge portions. Perfectly cooked and presented. My said her pizza was the best ever (apart from grandma's homemade pizza). Mum in law had starter and chips but couldn't finish

Fabulous pub. Superb veggie selection. I had the Wild mushroom, Fava bean Risotto. Delicious. Washed it down with one of their own ales.
Wife had the Mexican chilli with a Thieves cider.
"I'll be back" as Arnie would say.

Was staying in a local shepherds hut for a few nights and had dinner here. Very tasty food. The fish pie was very tasty and a mound of peas! Massive banoffe pie for pud was yum too. Good service. Very aware of current regulations.

Nice atmosphere and well spaced out etc. Checked temp on way in and service was good. We had steaks, fish pie, ribs and sausage and mash, all came out hot and tasty (table of 6). All round a decent meal out and would recommend. No homemade pies left unfortunately but will have to come back earlier in the day to try one! Pictures of the desserts.
