I used to be their number one fan, always talking positive about the surgery when other people were commenting how bad their Dr practice was. Been a patient for 20+ years.
I always had my appointment with Dr S Jones, at times I might have to wait, a week max since Covid it's over a week to see anyone (well talk to them).
Prior to Covid they had the telephone appointment system, which had its place, and worked. Now it's still that as your initial appointment. Can't blame everything to Covid, should now be the same quality service I used to experience.
Just had a telephone appointment from a Dr

Awful practice this is not because of GP’s this is because of the rude receptionists. I asked a receptionist to have a follow up appointment about my meds because they are not working and he made the appointment for 3 weeks time. I’m on medication that is not working and need an appointment urgently and not in a months time.
I also had a blood pressure appointment for a contraceptive pill and the receptionist was being patronising to me and questioning whether that is correct.
My previous GP in Leeds made same day appointments so I find it odd that a GP practice is unable to do that.

Used to be a good practice. Since COVID, it's fallen apart. Phone takes half an hour to answer at best, or just tells you that they're not even going to answer today! If by some miracle you get through, it's weeks for a telephone callback or months for an actual appointment. Feels like they're doing everything humanly possible to ignore their patients. I feel for those who aren't able to make alternative arrangements privately rather than rely on this right now.

35 years at this surgery and had simple but decent care, some great GP's but due to timetable inconsistencies never a regular Dr. I was shocked today as I have a broken wrist and spent 6.5 hours in A&E previous night to no closer access to Xray, so I discharged myself at 2:30 am due to children school runs and work. I phoned for a possible callback from a dr for a referral as reccomended by A&E nurse previous night. 10 days wait for a call? So I tried urgent care at 2pm I explained I had attended London Rd who advised I visit A&E who advised on my discharge to get a referral. I was told "I can

Worst of all, you get diagnoses by ear even after you've been in bed for 1 month, no one cares about you, I recommend if you care about your health do not choose this place

I rang for an emergency appointment and the reception staff were very helpful. I was given a triage appointment with the nurse Erica (not a doctor) who unfortunately was very unhelpful as she lied and pretended she would have a prescription ready for me to collect within 30 minutes. When I went to collect this prescription it was non existent and I only found out after calling again that it was a purposely delayed prescription for 48 hours. Dr Rozia Salil was also very unhelpful, unprofessional and confused as she mixed up someone else’s problem with mine which made me very confused. I rarely

There is a really long wait for a call back but when I have spoken to the doctor they have been great. Personally, I prefer the call back system to face to face appointments, less stressful. Reception staff are ok, some better than others. I've found the repeat prescription system difficult y navigate but that's because I'm old with terrible eyesight.

I've been a patient here for the past 28 years. This surgery is Fantastic!!!
They always see you in an emergency and you can get none emergency appointments quite quickly. All the Drs are nice, The top Dr, Dr Hambleton is FANTASTIC! Very supportive caring and understanding.
They always get my son, who has multiple problems, seen exceptionally quickly. The surgery is very clean and welcoming. It's attached to a boots chemist which is really convenient.
I have years of experience of various surgeries in Nottingham due to the work I did and this is far one of the best if not The Best

Derby Road Health Centre is situated in the student area of Nottingham, Lenton. It is great for students with friendly doctors, available appointments and a pharmacy attached to it, so you no longer have to do 2 embarrassing trips! Although the booking system is a pain (most days you have to phone at the crack of dawn to get an appointment that day), they normally manage to see you quickly and there's always appointments available for emergencies. Being a uni doctors they must see all sorts but remain very discreet and professional about it all! All in all, use this doctors instead of Cripps
