I'm disgusted in my practice for not doing the covid booster jabs. Grange farm originally did the first and second vaccines (begrudgingly late) but I've heard nothing this time around. I'm on the vulnerable list with underlying conditions, the first two vaccinations of AZ I had are out of my system. The practices in the areas close to me are critical for the many elderly and disabled people, of which we have many who can't get further afield to get the booster jab. I can only get out on a small disability scooter that can't travel very far, mobility scooters don't even exist on the NHS covid booster

I'm so sorry to learn that Dr Jones will be leaving Grange Farm in October. I have been fortunate to be under her care in the past and feel that this will be a great loss to the practice. I would like to wish both GP's who are returning to Derby Road, all the Very Best and Thank You.
The doctors and nursing/healthcare staff are, in my view amazing and this has been consistent.
I have had some dialogue with admin, Amanda on a couple of occasions when she answered the phone and found her to be very helpful and knowledgeable. She is always polite and respectful. I cannot comment on other administrators

Drs at this practice are great! Especially dr jones. However the receptionists are disgraceful. They are the first point of contact for us patients therefore should be polite understanding & helpful. However these receptionists are absolutely RUDE. No telephone or communication manners, there is never an appointment to offer. Even if you ring at 8am and you are the first in the que they still turn you down for an appointment. This surgery really needs to review there appointment system. The receptionist with an accent maybe from Birmingham is ever so rude & abrupt. However there is a new receptionist

The best doctors surgery I have had in a long time.
Doctors listen and do all they can to help, nurses are friendly, reassuring and regularly check up on the patients.
Birthday reviews are brilliant and help keep you on track.
The receptionists need a little bit more practice in customer service, can be abrupt at times.

Asthma nurses the most friendly and professional I've dealt with in a long time. Nurse off sick so another nurse ( I think but got no name ) called to let me know nurse was sick and was so impressed by her manner and all round courtesy. Congratulations on employing such lovely staff.
Not going to spoil this review by going into how polar opposite the reception staff can be. You are receptionists not Doctors so follow the nurses example and be polite to all.

Compared to my previous Dr's, it's fantastic. They have very friendly receptionists, lovely nurses and Dr's. I have in the past used the physio too. They have a drop in clinic and much more. It's modern, clean and the waiting room isn't clinical feel so you can relax before going in which considering my fear of Dr's because previous ones left me dangerously ill I really needed to relax. Might be a bus ride away but it's worth it.

I have recently switched from this practice after one of the receptionists belittled me when calling to obtain a prescription that I had been waiting for, for 10 days after my appointment. If you want to be spoken down to by someone who answers phones, go here. It is such a shame, as the nurse I used to see is very nice, but no patient should have to deal with the lack of empathy their receptionist demonstrates.
