Amanda is the Session Manager. Her qualifications include NVQ Level 4 in Childcare & Education. Amanda lives close to the Pre-School and one of the things she loves about working here is continuing to see the children around the village after they have left and seeing how they are getting on.

She is very keen to improve her knowledge and skills and has attended many additional training courses to ensure she and the team keep up to date on the latest developments.Amanda leads the team on planning each term's curriculum and activities and is also training for her Level 3 as Forest Schools Leader.
At the front of Pre-School we have an all weather outdoor surface and outdoor classroom; this allows us to use the garden all year round. It is perfect for physical play, ball games as well as riding bikes and scooters. In our front garden we have a climbing frame which helps the children develop their own risk taking and gross motor skills.
Marshfield Primary School provide us with fresh, cooked lunches each day if required at a charge of 3.00. Alternatively, you can provide a packed lunch for your child. The government funded three year old Free Entitlement (NEF) can be used at Marshfield Pre-School. All children are eligible for the grant from the term following their third birthday up until they go to primary school.
Availability at holiday club is sometimes a tricky thing to manage, whilst as always we try our very hardest to be as flexible as possible there has to be a point where staff rotas are set, therefore a any booking requests after that are subject to available staff.

We are aware that plans are not always easy to make ahead of time but we try to publish our activity program and holiday forms in good time to allow everyone to consider their plans and book early to avoid disappointment.A child's day could be one or a number of these sessions combined, only complete sessions can be booked.
Some 2 year olds in England whose families receive some form of support maybe entitled to claim 15 hours of free childcare. At Marshfield Pre-school this funding can be used during the 38 weeks of term time. All families in England with 3 and 4 year old children will become eligible for 15 hours of free childcare the term after the child becomes three.
