Pepperpot Bathford Preschool

Bathford Pre-School is located in the heart of Bathford village and has been providing the very best care to pre-school children for over 30 years. Since 2001, the pre-school, a registered charity, is located in a well-designed, purpose built building in the grounds of Bathford Primary School and the close links to the school make an easy transition for those applying to go into Reception class at the school.

Pepperpot is a warm and friendly environment where children are looked after and nurtured by the team of fully qualified, experienced staff. They are supported by a number of volunteers who also bring their wealth of professional skills and experiences to the group.

We operate a keyworker system at Pepperpot whereby each child has a named member of staff who is responsible for recording the progress your child is making against the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.The resulting learning diaries provide a comprehensive record of your child's time at Pepperpot which are given to you to take home at the end of term.

You can choose any combination of these hours but we ask that children come for a minimum of 3 sessions a week to ensure they settle happily. All children are eligible for funding of 15 hours per week from the Local Authority from the term after they become 3 years old, though in some cases your child may be entitled to subsidised sessions from the age of 2. We wanted to write to express our gratitude for all your care and my daughters opportunities you have provided her at Pepperpot. We have seen her develop and thrive both academically and socially during her time with you. Her confidence and self esteem have grown steadily and she is ready to take her next step at Bathford Primary School.
