Services
The Pre-School was originally running for many years in St. Peters Church Hall on Sheldon Road, this is where the name Sheldon Road Playgroup was born. Following a competition for the children, the name was changed to Moonbeams. It was a popular choice by all the children. We are now the main users of the hall during the day in term time.
So what will your child do at Moonbeams. Well we do so many different things we can not tell you everything, however here is a general day to give you a little taste. When you arrive your child can hang their coat and bag up on the hooks in our foyer. Parents sign the arrivals/departure book. We encourage the children to hang up their coats on lower hooks, so they can collect it later in the day.
As a charity we are a non-profit making organisation and therefore aim to keep fees as low as possible, whilst providing high quality care and education for your child. Fees are only charged for hours that are not covered by any grant you are eligable to receive. GRANTSChildren starting at 2 years old, could be eligible for 2 year funding (Better 2 Gether Funding).
What is 3 year old grant? Free Entitlement Funding is available, in Wiltshire, to all children from the term after their 3rd birthday. At Moonbeams we can accept Free Entitlement Funding for up to 15 hours per week. What about Special Needs? Moonbeams are very pleased to offer a strong and well established SENCo service, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
