Pluses
Good central location, good view from the room, very clean and quiet overall.
Bar is good and the bartender is very professional.
Reception staff is very friendly and helpful.
The main restaurant is quite good, food and service.
minuses
Wine list could have been longer for that type of dining.
Beds have non breathable under sheets - too cheap for this level of the hotel and it was not comfortable.

A lovely Victorian style hotel with a modern twist inside. Only had tea with family. A little expensive for me but I couldn’t knock the place. Lovely helpful staff. No outside space which is a pity but the location is ideal

Really good location, prices were great. The service on the other hand was at another level. We had a wedding and on the morning of the occasion I managed to get foundation all over my white shirt! The whole hotel team came together to help me rectify the huge disaster. A special mention to Adam, he was a real charmer and was running around the hotel trying to sort it (it was actually quite funny thinking about it now). He wouldn’t even accept a tip from me - absolute gent and super addition to the hotel. Thanks again everyone

The hotel is beautiful and very clean throughout. The staff could not be any more helpful or friendly; they put themselves out to assist you in any way. The decor is elegant and traditional and the food is sublime... definitely try the delicious dinner menu! There is also excellent parking and despite being almost in the town centre,it is quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be back, thank you for a wonderful break!

The room was spotlessly clean. I was pleasantly surprised to find an electric fan in the room.
