Yeo Dale Hotel
The Yeo Dale Hotel is a modern stylish hotel, retaining many original Georgian features. Build in 1807 the Yeo Dale dominates the skyline of the historic village of Pilton in Barnstaple. The current owners purchased the hotel in 2006 and since that time have been lovingly restoring the hotel aiming to provide good quality and great value accommodation.

My business colleague and I stayed here this week and were made to feel exceptionally welcome, had great rooms, a great breakfast and were recommended some lovely places to eat.The quality of the hotel was exceptional for the money and much better than staying in a faceless, extortionate chain. Breakfast was superb and I.

Fantastic owners. Really helpful and great with awkward customers (me).
Prices are pretty good. Especially because of it's location.
Definitely one of those hotels that I would consider coming back to... as long as they would have me, 😆
The rooms are spacious without being overwhelming. Ensuite is compact and usable. The bed we had was sublime. Comfortable is an understatement.
Road noise can be intrusive as our room was at the front of the property. But after a while, we barely noticed it.
The view out the windows is beautiful. The river Yeo is literally on the doorstep. And a large park

Really quaint family run hotel. Very clean and well set up. Our loft room is small and headroom very restricted. The en suite was small and the shower poor, very loud, not very hot on really low pressure. Lack of car park can be an issue too. Great for a couple of nights though.

OK place, bit pricey for what's on offer, but it was all that was available. Very short walk into town, easy parking.

First time I stayed here was when the building had been overhauled and it looked amazing inside and out, Paul and his wife made me feel welcome every time I stayed over the years, room and breakfast were lovely, cannot recommend enough.
