Services
In our school we believe passionately in providing high quality education and care in a safe, secure and healthy environment where young children can thrive through stimulating, challenging, creative indoor and outdoor play. We value a child-centred approach where we promote positive attitudes to learning through nurturing and celebrating diversity, building self-esteem and confidence and fostering independence.
Every week we will add specific activities for your 2 year olds and your over 3s under their own tab. On this website you will find some short videos and simple, fun activities that you and your child can do together. The activities have been broken down by age group, but pick and choose the ones that feel right for you.
Each member of staff has 4 children in their key group, so they can focus on supporting them. At Royal Spa the children's happiness and emotional security is always a priority. We believe that for children to be happy they must feel secure with the people around them.

All children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and focus on the prime areas of learning. Rhyme of the Week We have a rhyme of the week. Please enjoy singing this rhyme at home together. It helps your child to hear sounds and rhymes and this helps your child when they learn to read. Areas in Our Nursery The nursery is organised into the different areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Before your child starts at nursery we will make a date with you to come and do a home visit. Home visits give you an opportunity to chat to your key person about your child in your own home. Your child's first meeting with nursery staff is in your home where they feel relaxed. First day please stay with your child and play for about an hour as your child needs to get to know the staff before they are in nursery without you.
