Our St Leonards-on-Sea Nursery is a beautiful detached Victorian house, located in St Matthews Gardens. Our Brighton Nursery is a delightful converted coach house, with an amazing secret garden, situated between Fiveways and Preston Park. We have a team of very experienced, qualified practitioners, all of whom hold Paediatric First Aid certificates.
Some of our team hold, or are studying for, degrees in Early Years Studies. We are lucky to have wonderful gardens at each of our settings, to play, learn and practice our Forest School activities. We love growing our own vegetables for chef to use in the kitchen. Our nurseries each have a fully equipped kitchen and employ a dedicated chef, creating healthy and delicious menus, mindful of all dietary and cultural requirements.

Here individual needs are met in a calm environment. The baby room provides a wonderful space for babies to be nurtured and cared for. Full of natural resources, creative and sensory activities to enjoy, this is a room full of fun. There is a separate sleep room and changing area. The focus at this early age is on engagement and the highest standards of care, individual care routines are followed, with plenty of their key person's time.
At Bear's House we are all very passionate about the outdoors. From a summer picnic, to building a snowman, the weather only adds to the possibilities! We play on our balance bikes and learn the Green Cross Code; we explore mini beasts in the wild garden and grow fresh fruit and vegetables in our allotment.
Children at Bear's House Nurseries enjoy delicious, nutritious and balanced meals, from breakfast, through snacks, lunch and tea. Our Nursery Chef produces a seasonal menu on a three-week rotation, following the guidelines of the Children's Food Trust.
Mealtimes are an important occasion at Bear's House, when children's independence and development are supported by finding their place to sit, helping to serve and experiencing a range of different tastes and ingredients.We bring learning about the world and healthy eating together, with diverse cultures and events celebrated through food.

Our St Leonards-on-Sea Nursery is a beautiful detached Victorian house, located in St Matthews Gardens. The area is very quiet, with lots of trees and plenty of parking spaces to drop off and collect your children. St Matthews Gardens also has a secret, walled garden, used only by residents, where we hold our summer sports and fun days.
Our Hastings Nursery is a spacious converted town house, located in Holmesdale Gardens, just a short walk from the town centre, train station and Sussex Coast College. At Holmesdale Gardens, each age group enjoys their own floor of the building, with our Honey Bears greeting parents on the hall floor, Panda Bears home on the Garden floor, while Polar Bears make their dens on the first floor.

Fantastic nursery! I could not ask for a lovely place for my daughter to go to, all the staff and Management are so lovely, friendly and very respectful I just wish I sent my daughter there as soon as she had started! Any problems I have or anything they are there in support in anyway that they can help. I would 100% Recommend this nursery. And if your little one loves been outside this is the place to go! Sun, sown or if little ones want to go out, if staff think it’s safe then the kids are outside! And that’s fab as my little one loves playing out!
