At Robins, we enjoy a happy space full of warmth and smiles in a beautiful environment. We welcome individuality, respect all backgrounds, value differing abilities and cater for individuals, promoting independent choice within a flexible structure. The development of a child's personal, social and emotional well-being is a priority for us and Ofsted have always graded Robins as outstanding in this important area.
I couldn't be happier with the environment which has been created from all the hard work put in, caring, and loving nature from all the staff at Robin's. Ollie has learned so much and has a great fondness for you all. I feel so lucky that we found Robin's as I couldn't imagine feeling this happy with another nursery.

These covered, coloured shapes that we have hanging from the vaulted ceilings are for education. It is true that we use them to play games with which will certainly familiarise the names and shapes but they have a much bigger purpose. They are covered in a dense material and positioned so as to reduce the reverberation in the playroom.
The term after their 3rd birthday all children are eligible for 570 free funded hours per annum. This entitles them to a maximum of 15 hours funded per week (term time). These hours may be used in the morning, afternoon or both but the sessions times must be adhered to. If your child attends over this limit there will be an hourly rate charged at 5.50 for the extra hours.
You may be aware that the Department for Education has brought out new guidance regarding the Early Years Foundation Stage. The new format raises three prime areas above others which reflect the key skills all children need to develop and learn effectively. These are Communication and Language, Physical Development, and Personal, Social and Emotional Development.

Big smiles, amazing staff, promoting happy, confident children, a wonderful garden & environment, fabulous 'learning through play' resources, inclusive and encouraging!,...What was not to love about Robins nursery? Both my children attended and loved going. I had peace of mind leaving them in such caring and dedicated hands. I'm very grateful for such a fantastic start for my two. Joanne Halton

My son absolutely loves Robins nursery. He have attended others nurseries in the area but was never quite happy. Since I moved him to Robins, every single day he's wake up with a smile on his face to go to Robins Nursery. Also, I felt more than welcome since the first time I visited the nursery. They have skilled stuff, my son learnt how to counting numbers there and now he has starting writing his name. I couldn't be more satisfied. Highly recommend it!

My children went at Robins Nursery, and both loved it. My son loved outdoors activities and my daughter loved indoors activities. I'll never forget their Christmas and summer shows. The staff effort is amazing. When we pass by Robins now ,my children are always exited and sometimes they like to say hello to the staff.

Robins is a wonderful nursery. The staff are excellent and they really worked hard to make sure that my son had the best time when he was there. The communication and updates from the staff about my son's progress was also excellent.
It was sad when it came around to the time to move on but I was happy and confident that he was as prepared for school as he could have been.

Both of my sons attended Robins after a recommendation from a good friend and my younger son is about to finish nursery and start school this September.
My children both loved their time at Robins. It's a lovely cosy, intimate nursery, full of fun and laughter, home away from home. Each member of staff really get to know each child properly and form strong and secure relationships with them. They have created a such a lovely nurturing and supportive environment, where the children can grow as individuals.
In the children's final year at nursery Robins, the staff are great at preparing the children

Our twin daughters went to Robins for two years and there was not a day we didn't feel pleased and lucky to have found it. The staff are wonderful with the children and the parents, and the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. It was the perfect environment for our girls to spend time in. They learnt so much, socially and academically, but without ever feeling they were doing anything other than having fun. I can't recommend it highly enough.

My son and daughter both attended Robins nursery and I would wholeheartedly recommend it.
The staff are friendly and caring. They are well educated regarding child development and Early Years Foundation Stage. They have an genuine interest in caring for and educating the children. Robins provided a good open forum to discuss our son's Autism and therefore delayed development, with daily feedback and 1:1 support. Our daughter had over three great years here, she developed so much and is one confident little lady.
The best thing about this nursery is the lovely garden and the children spend a lot

The wonderful team at Robins looked after my son, who has Down Syndrome, for his preschool year. Their natural approach to Inclusion was wonderful - not just for my son, but for his friends too. They actively supported his learning, gently guiding him in his social skills. He was also able to take part at Robins after open heart surgery when he was on oxygen. His 1-1 was amazing and carried his tank around so he could continue playing and learning. I really would recommend that you go and meet the team at Robins, they are wonderful.
