At Marshlands Vets in Boston we aim to provide a high-quality and caring service to all clients and pets. We welcome owners and their pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, small furries, ferrets, birds, poultry & reptiles. Although we do not specialise in exotic species, we can treat most simple problems with these animals.
Services
Marshlands Vets is a family-run veterinary practice serving the local community. We understand that pets are a member of your family and that's why we treat them as if they were our own. The same vet will see your pet through an illness or injury wherever possible, and we work hard to balance high-quality care with affordable prices.
The Team at Marshlands Vets are here to provide your pet with professional and dedicated services. Marshlands is a modern, well-equipped practice and your pet will be in safe hands with us. To save us from the difficult decision we all hope our pets will peacefully pass away in their sleep. Sadly it rarely happens this way and we have to discuss putting our pet to sleep with our vet (euthanasia).
Nursing Manager Sam Biggs is our Training Assessor. She spends one-to-one time with the Trainee Veterinary Nurses each week, covering practical work and coursework. She also oversees all work carried out by the nurses in practice. Marshlands are linked to the College of Animal Welfare - Huntingdon which provides an outside assessor to ensure that the quality of training provided is maintained.
Our Pet Care Plan allows you to spread the cost of caring for your pet through the year. It covers your pet for all of its basic health needs, including treatments and expert advice, giving you complete peace of mind for your pet's well being. The Pet Care Plan guarantees your pet regular health check-ups, where we'll dispense advice if it's needed, along with support and treatment planning to prevent problems arising in your pet in the future.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!

Great expirience. Vet was kind, expirience and patient. He answered on all my questions and concerns. Receptionists was friendly and helpful. Reception very clean, almost free from chemical smell so my dog willingly got in and was very relax (which is unusual for him ). The next day I got a call from Marshlands asking how my dog was doing. From another Boston vet where I used to be, they texted me asking if I had a Pet plan for my dog. This is the difference.

This was my first visit to this practice. Receptionist very pleasant and made us feel welcome. The vet was thorough, understanding and explained everything. He listened to what we had to say. He was very gentle with Mork our cat. Overall a very good experience and glad we have moved our pets to this practice.

Always thought marshalnd vets are a caring, professional and very helpful vets especially after using them for around 10 years with my previous pet. I called to see if they was able to help me in a time of need as my dog needed a animal health Certificate. The lady who picked up the phone to me at 16:54pm 7th September, laughed in my face and made a sarcastic comment of 'no chance' as she continued to laugh despite me saying that this is an emergency. Absolutely disgraceful and unprofessional behaviour considering your job is to help animals and there owners in a time of need. Do not recommend

Very impressed when I took my poorly baby, they explained everything in details and even drew diagrams for us to understand. They told us what the plan was and what the outcome could be . They also explained the price and gave us a rough estimate. The two vets I saw were thorough and caring (Len and Michael). Have recommended the vets to friends and family who have joined the vets.
