Services
David and Carole Clarke started the practice in King Street, King's Lynn in 1984. By 1990, the practice had moved to a newly-built centre here at Mill House. We see cats, dogs and other small animals only, and provide a high level of service at reasonable cost, with staff all committed to excellent pet care.
As well as treating animals when they are ill, and providing routine vaccinations and neutering, we offer a whole range of other services to keep pets healthy. Many of these services are informal and a number are free. We also stock a wide range of premium and special diets, health care products and quality accessories at discounted prices - in fact all you need to keep your pet healthy and happy.
We offer a full range of treatment options at affordable prices, and our policy is to always offer value for money whatever level of treatment you prefer. We have a full fee and price list in reception with routine prices on display. Please call for current prices and any special offers. We always quote and estimate fees including VAT at 20%, to avoid surprises.
We are a gold standard Cat Friendly Clinic. This means we meet the highest standards specified by the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) and understand how to make your cat's visit a more positive experience. Larger cat friendly accommodation for hospitalised patients, providing a secure, quiet and calm environment.
If you are interested in a career with Mill House, please check back regularly for available opportunities. We are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join our established team in this single-site small animal veterinary hospital. We are now looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated team in our busy, modern, well equipped hospital.

Our 13 year old Chocolate Lab was recently diagnosed with Pancreatitis. We paid our local vet almost 1k for 2 treatments. Over the Bank Holiday Holly had a bad turn and was clearly in pain. I rang Mill House as they were our out of hours surgery to ask for more Tramadol to relieve her pain. The lovely young lady was so helpful and after asking how much Holly weighed she just said give her three quarters of a 500mg Paracetamol. Wow, it worked a treat, thank you so much. You could easily have told me to come in and prescribed more Tramadol and charged out of hours rates. You are diamonds and a Practice

Although this is far from the cheapest vet surgery, the staff take wonderful care of all the animals and have successfully extended the life of my then, 12 year old dog, who presented with large tumors on her body. They removed them, along with some rotten teeth and 14 months on, she is still bouncing around like a puppy.
Superb professionalism and skill for which I'm truly grateful. 😊

Unfortunately we had to let our darling Westie, 15 years old go. We went to Mill House in the middle of the night and the vet on duty a beautiful, caring soul who was Spanish give us heartbreaking choices. She gave us time to consider and call our son, all at 3.30am in the morning. We made our decision and let this kind, wonderful, considerate vet take his life. We were allowed to be with him, cuddle him and say our goodbyes and able to include our son through video call.
Absolutely recommend this practice, the on call nurse was very caring too. Thank you Mill House for easing our pain and that

Sadly i lost my doggy whilst on holiday in Norfolk (I had to put her to sleep). This was one of the hardest thing for me as I was so close to my doggy Tilly. They were so good for Tilly and so good with me. The vet (young lady) was just so lovely and kind and did not rush giving me time to say goodbye. A few days later they sent a lovely card, just such a nice touch (from Laura) and rare to feel that extra personal effort (i live in Manchester but if I ever moved back to Lynn i would defo use them again). So thank you so much for treating Tilly and me with so much respect and waiting for me whilst
