Services
The new Burnham Market surgery is situated next to the petrol station on Creake Road - if you go to the left side of the garage at the end of a short lane you will see the signage.
The Burnham Market surgery is opening to serve the needs of pet owners living in Burnham Market and the surrounding area and is a 'branch surgery' so provides facilites for examination of your pet, from routine vaccinations to investigating and managing illness and disease. The new Burnham Market Practice does not yet have facilities to operate on your pet so this is all done at the fully equipped surgery in Snettisham.

Here at Coastal Vets we aim to provide you and your pet with the best treatment we can, and as well as treating your pets when they become ill, this means giving them the best preventative treatment we can. One of the ways in which we can help is with our Pet Care Plan.
This is not an insurance policy, but a way of spreading the cost of preventative healthcare over 12 months, covering routine vaccinations, (including kennel cough) a health check every 6 months, worming and flea treatment and if your pet is not microchipped we can even include that too.

Penalties for persistent non-compliance can be a fine of up to 500. A pet microchip is a tiny electronic device, implanted under an animal's skin, that contains a unique 15 digit code. When registered with a national database this code allows the finder of a lost pet to trace the owner quickly and efficiently.

The vets themselves are good, however, they need to look at their receptionists. No friendly smile, no welcoming 'hello', one talked but wasn't particularly engaging, just only interested in finding the surgery fee, the one just look disinterested and didn't engage at all. I want to be able to walk into the reception area and feel like I was welcomed. After all this surgery was not cheap! Take this on board and update their people skills.

Critical: Professionalism
I unfortunately lost my dog of 15 years. The vet that carried out this horrible task was very cold hearted and wanted to take my away to do the procedure. I also had to ask for extra time to say my goodbyes to my much loved family member. This is not the professional service I expect from this heartless woman.
