Welcome to the Village Inn in Newton, a traditional country pub with a relaxing atmosphere. The Village Inn is located in the rural village of Newton, Cumbria. We're about 10 minutes drive from the local towns of Ulverston and Barrow in Furness, and aproximately 5 minutes from the sandy beaches of the famous and popular Coast Road, which overlooks Morcambe Bay.

Owned and run by Andrew and Gill who provide a first class warm and welcoming dining experience, using locally produced and sourced fresh produce. We make all of our guests feel part of the familly and children are always welcome. Our extensive menu has been created to tantalise the taste buds of everybodies individual tastes.

Lovely food and excellent service. The roast was the best I've had in a while. Great value too, will definitely be returning. Thanks.

Very chatty host & friendly staff. Great value meals! About £70 for 4 of us! Loved the lasagna.
First visit for me. And wow! Real chips! Short taxi ride from Barrow!

Lovely pub, friendly staff. Great food, very well priced and plenty of it. Went there twice in a week as the hotel we were staying at was twice the price.

Found this pub restaurant at the last moment for dinner and it was spot on. The pub is located just 3 miles off Barrow-in-Furness in a quite village with good ambience. The pub is welcoming and the food is awesome. Made fresh from the order and it is made to order and right quantity to fill apatite.
Would recommend strongly for a good evening dinner with family and you won't be disappointed.
