We show all sporting events on Sky, and we have pool and darts facilities, live entertainment across the weekends and a children's play area. We have lots of food and drinks offers throughout the week including Mad Mondays where you can pick any dish off the menu for 5 through to the weekend where you can choose any burger with selected beers or house wine for 8.

We offer a professional and personal service our function room is available to hire for any special event. Our main aim is to make your function as stress free and enjoyable as possible, from the moment you first enquire to the actual day of your event. I was at the William Mitchell for the children's Xmas party, it was very well organised, Trisha the landlady was brilliant with the children.the pub is kept very clean & all is good as far as covid is concerned, she has made sure all is done that needs to be done.
A very nice landlady & team if I was giving ☆I would give ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 10

We had an impromptu meal out (dropping our son and his friend at the football) and as you could imagine the place was packed full of football fans! However, we found a table very easily and went to the bar… (very quick service from the bar staff!) didn’t have to queue long and ordered our food. Food arrived very quickly and nice and hot! Food was delicious and nothing seemed too much for the staff. The pub obviously went a lot quieter towards the end of our meal with the fans dispersing to the football ground. Brilliant bar. Decent prices. Was quite busy when I was in. (Morecambe v Blackpool friendly) but still served really quickly and staff polite and friendly.
Food looks good too so I will be back soon to try.

Pleasant enough surroundings. Food was soso. Chicken overcooked and dried and peas not very tender. But for £8.50 good value nonetheless. Good service.
Addendum. I went back a couple of days later at lunch time and sat outside. Had the beef and ale pie. It was excellent so i have given them an extra star.

There weren't any available roast dinners on any of the delivery apps and we really wanted one. We decided to call the William Mitchell to see if they could accommodate. A short while later we picked up 4 roast dinners. They were delicious. Yummy roasties, nice Yorkshire puds and both the beef and chicken were really tasty. The portion size goes beyond value for money. Think we will be making them our go to for roast dinners from now on x
