Welcome to Moneynick Primary School - a caring, inclusive community school focussed on and committed to every individual child. We wish to give you an insight into the life of our vibrant school community, and share with you the children's life in school; their curriculum, their friendships, their academic achievements, their sporting, cultural, artistic, spiritual and Shared Education experiences.

In order to assist parents who need to be on the road early we provide a Breakfast Club at Moneynick. A healthy breakfast of cereal, toast and fruit is provided. The Breakfast Club is available Monday to Friday from 7.45am to 8:45am. Children will follow hand hygiene and social distancing rules when at the breakfast club.
The Northern Ireland Curriculum aims to empower young people to develop their potential and make informed and responsible choices and decisions throughout their lives. Children at Key Stages 1 and 2 should build and develop the experiences provided at the Foundation Stage.

The development of ICT is a School Development Plan priority. We want all our pupils to be properly equipped with the relevant ICT skills, knowledge and experiences which will allow them to be successful contributors to a modern society. During Staff Development Days in August the Nerve Centre Belfast provided teacher training on the use of iPads in the classrooms.
In a world of advancing technology, we strive to provide our children with the opportunities, skills and knowledge to become positive digital contributors. However, it is extremely important that our children are taught how to keep safe and to be aware of the digital dangers. Each month, this web page will provide parents with up-to-date and useful information to reinforce the e-safety procedures practiced in our classrooms.
