The Ethos of St Joseph's is best summed up by the words of one of our children that we have adopted as our motto- 'Faith, Friendship and Learning for Life.' St Joseph's Primary School will always be concerned with creating a caring, Christian community in which every member feels valued, supported and happy.
All staff of St. Joseph's PS believe that Child Protection encompasses the action taken to promote the personal safety and well being of children and the procedures followed in responding to suspicious and/or allegations of ill-treatment of individuals. The child's welfare must always be paramount; The Welfare of the child is the paramount consideration for the courts and in childcare practice.
Welcome to our page for parents/carers guidance on the school approach to blended learning. Blended learning is the use of face to face normal school teaching and remote/online work. This section of the website will be used to provide parents with information and guidance on how to access online learning and how the school intends to use it.
This section will give you an insight into the Mathematics and Numeracy activities which the children in St. Joseph's take part in on a daily basis. We will also upload resources to this area which will help you support your children at home. We held 3 parent sessions focussing on ways which you can help your child at home with maths led by Timothy Doyle.
Hot meals are available daily in our school canteen at a price of 2.60. Parents can view the menu and select dinner options for their children using the 'School Money' website. The menu will no longer appear on this website. Parents can also pay for dinners through this platform and this prevents the need to handle money in school.
