We booked this as a passing through night away whilst visiting family for Christmas. Straight away we felt so welcome by the staff and the locals that we decided to book an extra night.
The room was lovely clean and modern with all the essentials needed.
The food is delicious and loved the sea food platter.
The best thing about this lovely Inn is the staff who all engage and go out of there way for you. It's so nice to find a place with such a happy and accommodating team. We can't wait to visit again :)

Lovely pub in a small quaint village. Had a great spot drinking in the beer garden when the weather was beautiful in October. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Great service, friendly staff, beautiful place. However there is really no excuse for serving up a £7+ sandwich on store bought sliced bread. I imagine the full menu is better, and maybe we caught them on a bad day for bread supplies.

Nice place to sit outside and enjoy a drink. Food is okay, some dishes miss the mark a little but the steak pie is a treat. Good pub food for sure. Worth a visit if you're visiting Byland Abbey.
