Services
After a bit of an impromptu period of stopping and starting these past 18 months, we're so pleased to say that the Wild Swan is once again, swinging open its doors to welcome you in for some proper Yorkshire hospitality. As new owners of the Wild Swan, we believe that old traditions die hard. Well, we're three childhood pals passionate about our local area and the people and produce within it.
Our menus are sure to have something for everyone using locally sourced fresh ingredients. We cater for smaller lite bites with snacks and sandwiches, or why not treat yourself to the full three courses in our restaurant or a pizza from our wood-fired oven! Our Head Chef John, is Yorkshire born and bred.
The Wild Swan is first and foremost a friendly pub where you can grab a beer, have a chat, and watch the world go by! We love a local beer and you will always find a good selection of Yorkshires finest from Timothy Taylor's to Black Sheep, but sometimes you just can't beat a crisp lager on a warm summer's day - right?

The fish was cooked perfectly and portions really good. Minor criticism as previous owners in chef whites and caps. Dishing up lacking the presentation . . I wish the new owners great success and l hope these points are taken as constructive criticism and hope the presentation catches up with the standard of the food. Good luck great service and good

We were recommended the Wild Swan by our boss so we booked a table for 4 at 7pm. We got there early an was shown to our table. W e ordered and after 3 attempts to get an order placed because they had run out of this or " I'm sorry we've only got one portion of that" The food was over seasoned in our opinion (although some people may like a lot of salt). It was a shame really as it's a nice atmosphere and a lovely village. We will try again in the future but not just yet

Ended up at The Wild Swan last night on my way home and had one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. The 'Pizza & Pint' deal that was on that night was great value for money and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. I will be back soon and look forward to trying some dishes off the main menu too. Thanks again!

Great food and friendly service, but the food came way too quickly! It was one course straight after the other. I'm sure some people may like this, but if you like to space out your meal and make it last longer it might be worth asking them to leave a bit of time between ordering and serving each course. Apart from that we had a great time!
