I work with clients to turn ideas, inventions and insights into tangible, useful and valuable items. Into metal, plastic and silicon. Into prototypes, products, and ultimately profit. I mainly work with technology-driven start-ups and SMEs-and some larger organisations that value "agile and flexible", focussing on progressing innovations in sensing technology towards maturity.
Many of my projects are in medical devices-we are ISO13485 certified. I also work in other sensor-enabled fields such as environment, security, machinery, transport and IoT. High-tech product development requires a wide range of specialist expertise.

In 1987 I took my MSc. in mechanical engineering and applied physics at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. A few years later I added a degree in marketing management. Since then I've worked in development, marketing and sales of new technology-based products. In the fields of printing equipment and medical diagnostic devices.
