Stotfold Engineering began in 1967 by my father Terry Ives, who had previously been the top tool maker and design engineer in the government training centre in Letchworth.

Through out my engineering career I have always observed the colour and texture of the waste materials that are produced while manufacturing parts for customers.

True engineer's, old school, hard to find these days. Terry is so helpful and will help you in any way possible. I cannot believe the variety of work they take on, I enjoy just going round there to see the different things they fix. Their work is first class, very good service and a nicer guy you wont find. I have a home made Trike and Terry has been so helpful with problems. Thank You.

I have now used Stotfold Engineering for two motorcycle restorations. One being a box of bits being transformed into a superb award winning bike. The second bike (1934) was original but not used for decades and was recommissioned rather than restored. The work was carried out to retain the originality and patina. Superb work on both bikes and I am fussy..! Stotfold Engineering is the only company I would trust with my bikes. Proper engineers.

Absolute disgrace to deal with. Carburetors were supposed to be fully refurbished. Hardly touched anything, and left with swarf in the fuel chambers from removing the broken drain plugs. Had to take carbs elsewhere to get done properly.
Never contacted when they missed the post as I had to buy the repair kits. Save your money, and go elsewhere.
