Lordgate's dedicated Projects team develop a full plan for every project, taking into consideration all aspects of production from initial discussion, through to logistics to give a detailed look at what is involved at every stage of manufacture.
The plan allows for projects to be assessed for capability and risk; early identification of potential difficulties affords the ability to prevent occurrence rather than needing to react to issues during critical stages.Production is continually monitored to make sure it is in adherence with the project plan, and to identify any improvement opportunities.

Our manufacturing facility combines all the necessary tools and machinery with employee expertise and skill to produce the most demanding products. We offer a range of profiling options including punch, laser cutting, folding, and forming to manufacture components from sheet metal. Our CNC milling and turning machines give us the ability to produce a wide variety of components from small scale prototyping through to larger batch production.
As the UK's only independent welding contractor with ISO15085-2 Class 1 certification our responsibility to welding is paramount, being able to undertake safety critical components for the rail industry. BS EN ISO 9606 certified TIG, MIG, and MAG operations are performed on Stainless Steel, Ferretic Steel, and Aluminium structures.
Quality is a driving force behind every aspect of work at Lordgate and the key to offering the highest quality service relies on a solid Quality Management System. Lordgate are certified to ISO9001:2015. The quality department is involved throughout all stages of production, from providing a review of plans during development stages, through to first article inspection and final inspection of all manufactured components.
