SPS Pumps & Engineering Ltd was established in 1983 by the present Managing Director and partner Michael Edgar, after learning his trade working in the the pumping industry for Flygt Pumps. Michael maintains the high standards of health & safety SPS Pumps are renowned for. Paul started at SPS Pumps in 1987 in the workshop / onsite, under the guidance of some of the best in the industry.
The assembly was removed from site to our workshop. The repair consisted of, crankshaft bearing face refurbishment, manufacture of all new brass bearings and pins. Gearbox and drive mechanism repair. Full installation and recommissioning. The gearhead drives were removed and returned to our workshop for full refurbishment.
Health & Safety and the environment are an ongoing priority within SPS Pumps & Engineering Ltd, for our employees and business partners. At SPS, we are regularly audited by our clients to ensure we meet their exacting high standards at all times. All of our engineers are highly trained and meet all health & safety certification requirements to carry out the tasks required on site, in a safe and secure manner.
