During this challenging time, we are continuing to offer our clients veterinary care, seeing all sick patients and offering phone or video consultations if appropriate. However, due to reduced staff numbers, we have had to make the decision to reduce our opening hours. Emergency care needed after this time, will be available at Plymouth Veterinary Hospital in Estover.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and would like to thank all our clients for their patience and understanding during this difficult time and hope that all of our clients are safe and well. Albert Cottage Vets are amazing. They treat every pet as if they were their own and every member of the staff is so friendly and welcoming.

Services
We are a long established, friendly, small animal practice with a dedicated team of nurses and four experienced veterinary surgeons. At Albert Cottage, we aim to provide a personal and caring service to all our clients and their animals. We are happy to see all pets whether furry, scaly or feathered.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
At Albert Cottage, we care for pets of all species, shapes and sizes. Our friendly vets, nurses and reception staff are friendly and always happy to give advice or discuss your enquiries. Below we have gathered some good advice on how to care for your pet as well as how we can help you caring for your pet.
We have set up a Facebook page dedicated to lost and found pets in the Saltash and surrounding areas. Add details of the pet you have lost or found as a message at the top of the page content - this will post the information to everyone in the group. Please note that Albert Cottage Venterinery Clinic has established this service and is happy to administer it.
As pet owners, we endeavour to make sure that our faithful companions stay fit and healthy, enabling them to live to an old age. Unfortunately, our pets do not live as long as us and at some point, we will have to prepare to let them go. Sadly, few of our pets pass peacefully away in their sleep. Therefore, we all wish to do the right thing at the right time, fulfilling our responsibility and commitment in their final days.
