EXTREMELY GOOD NEWS - After a very productive meeting with Sellafield we have been advised that Sellafield will look kindly upon any parent or prospective parents who attend Beckermet Nursery and Beckermet School OR are thinking of looking for a nursery/school in that they WILL be issued with a Yottenfews Token to enable them to bring their child/children and then carry on with their journey to site.

Services
Beckermet Nursery is a non-profit organisation with charity status. It is managed by a voluntary management committee whose members are elected by the parents of the children who attend the nursery. Making sure that the nursery has, and works to, policies (which can be found on the main notice board within the nursery) that ensure a high quality service is provided.
All children are individual and progress at different rates. Our assessment involves establishing what each child can do and planning the next step through the keyworker system. We observe all the children regularly and, throughout the year we build up a profile for each child.
This is presented to you at the end of each full term and a summary is passed on to the relevant reception class teacher, when they progress to school, to ensure continuity of learning and progression.Any concerns about your child would be raised with you during the term. However, each keyworker is available for a chat on a daily basis.

My 3 children love their time in the holiday club. Activities are well thought out, always age appropriate. The food is excellent value for money as are the charges I never have to persuade them to go they run in eager to see their friends. Thank you beckemet xx.
