Pets and their owners will soon be benefitting from a new, larger vet practice opening at Britannia Park Trading Estate in Lichfield. Puppy and kitten starter packs now available at all Hillman vets for a limited time period. We currently take part in a National Vet Survey where each month one lucky client will win 200 in vouchers simply by giving their feedback.

It should take no more than 2 minutes and helps us to improve our service to you.
Services
We have been looking after pets of the Walsall, Lichfield and Cannock area for nearly 30 years, and although much of the technology has changed in that time, our dedication and commitment hasn't changed a bit. The size of our practice means we have nurses and vets with expertise and experience in all aspects of veterinary care, from orthopaedics to weight control, acupuncture to pet behaviour.
No-one likes fleas. Their bite can be very annoying to both owners and their pets, causing the animal to become irritated and start scratching. Female fleas can lay 40 to 50 eggs per day, usually on the host, although as these multiply they can roll off onto surrounding areas and therefore it is much easier to prevent an infestation rather than treat the pet and house afterwards.
We are looking for a qualified, dedicated VCA or experienced ANA to join our friendly team. We are 100% SA with 6 surgeries. A day in the life of a VN in our practice is a varied and exciting one, they have their own appointments, post-op checks, weight clinic appointments, 2nd vaccines, laser therapy.
If it's not possible for you to attend the practice but you need some advice or your pet is unwell, we can offer you a video consultation. We would always prefer to see you face to face, but understand this is not always possible in the current circumstances. Step 1: Phone us and advise the receptionist that you'd like to arrange a video consultation.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!

It is the first time I have used a veterinary service myself on a pet that's not been a family one and I am so happy with the service received. The receptionist is welcoming and the environment on entry is calming and my dag is relaxed while waiting his turn. The consultant is fantastic, he broke everything down step by step so there was no confusion. Where treatment was needed he made me aware of costs. I am happy I chose this veterinary clinic for my pup.

I turned up at the wrong branch but these guys were so lovely they still fitted my dog coco in.
Coco had previously been seen by the arboretum branch due to a rash which was getting worse and after 2 weeks of sleepless nights she had the best sleep last night following her visit here.
Vet advised this is only temporary relief but long term she will need tests/skin graft etc which is different advice given by arboretum branch so I'm a little apprehensive about what advice to follow but overall I'm really happy with how well we were greeted and treated by this team. Friendly service ❤

When the unfortunate time came to say goodbye to our beloved dog, we could not get into the usual vets but PetSave in Darlaston took the call and were able to fit is in immediately. The lady on reception was very kind and sympathetic to us and when we brought him in they handled him with such care. They turned what was a very difficult situation and did everything they could to comfort us.
Following on from that sad day, we were surprised to receive a card wishing their condolences which was a lovely gesture from the team.
I can't say enough praise for them, and their kindness and sensitivity

Hillman vets look after both my pets Tyson(dog) and Angel(cat), Angel suffered a skin condition last year and lost all her fur, the lengths the practice went to and the steps they were prepared to make was unbelievable, always kept me informed, she now has a whole body of soft fluffy fur. Skilled, dedicated, caring and compassionate trusted team. Quick reliable service and made me feel safe visiting during this pandemic.

Excellent and compationate vets.
Treatment options are always discussed with you and the animals are very well looked after as if they were their own.
Vets, nurses and receptionists are excellent.
