For most of us we think this Academic year is one to forget, but not for us. While this year has had its hurdles and been quite a journey it has still been incredibly memorable.

The children at St Joseph's are always put at the centre and it has been our aim as staff to make a difference, make life in school seem normal and to allow our children to be just that, children. To grow, develop, learn but most importantly have fun. I think lots of children have been enjoying the Tuesday Cricket sessions with our Chance to Shine Coach.

Welcome to our ambitious, Caring and aspiring learning community at St. Joseph's Catholic Primary School. St Joseph's is a one form entry Catholic primary school in Waltham Cross where we pride ourselves on working together as a community and celebrating our experiences and aspirations. I aspire every day for excellence in myself and others.
The basic equality between all human beings has always been fundamental to Catholic belief and teaching. St. Joseph's Catholic Primary School acknowledges and celebrates diversity among pupils, staff, governors and visitors. Our Equality Policy, (including our Accessibility Plan) outlines the commitment of the staff and governors in promoting equality.
The governors at St. Joseph's Catholic Primary School are fully committed to supporting the Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team to continue to provide the very best education and school experience for our children. The relationship between the governors and the leadership team is positive and based upon trust, openness and transparency.
There will be an opportunity to view the school and to meet with the Headteacher and the Foundation/Early Years Teams. Supplementary Application forms will be available to collect on this evening. In addition to the completing the Supplementary Information Form, if you are a practising Catholic and are applying under categories 2 and 3, please obtain a Certificate Of Catholic Practice from your Parish Priest.
The DfE have reinforced the need "to create and enforce a clear and rigorous expectation on all schools to promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs." The Government set out its definition of British values in the 2011 Prevent Strategy, and these values have been reiterated.
