If your appointment or query is not urgent, please try after 9.30 am to avoid our busy period on the telephones. You may experience a "dead line" if our call system is at capacity. In line with Government guidance we would like to advise all patients that you will be required to wear a face covering when attending the practice.
This decision has been taken to provide additional protection for both patients and staff. Thank you for your co-operation at this difficult time. Patients who are under the excessive influence of drugs and/or alcohol will be asked to rebook their appointment. This is in line with our Zero Tolerance policy.

Services
As a practice we are committed to supporting the training of healthcare professionals. At times we may have student doctors or nurses; qualified doctors at an early stage of their career (GP Registrars); trainee midwives; health visitors or other professionals working with our experienced staff. GP Registrars are fully qualified doctors who are completing their advanced training to enable them to become future general practitioners.
We want to know if we can support you to lipread or use a hearing aid or communication tool. If you or someone you know finds it hard to read our letters or if you need someone to support you at appointments, please let us know. If you or someone you know has any impairment and/or difficulties when in the practice, we would be pleased to discuss how we can best meet your needs.
You may register with us to be able to access your details on line. You will need to pick up a form from reception or download from our website via this link. Please telephone 440018 between 8.30am and 6.00pm and our Receptionists will offer the earliest appointment possible. You will need to book a separate appointment for each member of the family who needs to be seen.
The Surgery offers extended evening surgery and weekend hours. These sessions are to help people who work and are not able to come to the surgery during daytime opening hours. Please contact reception and you will be advised of the next available session. The practice is closed ONCE a month for staff development and training, except in August and December.
Emergency cover is provided outside normal surgery hours, at weekends and bank holidays by NEMS. You will be required to provide full information about your problem and will be expected to attend the primary care centre at King's Mill Hospital if deemed appropriate. Outside normal surgery hours (evenings, weekends and bank holidays) emergency cover for the practice is provided by Primary Care (PC24) Out of Hours service.
