I was visiting Bishop Auckland golf course with my wife who was playing in the Northern Ladies golf competition over 4 days. A very lovely course, challenging, and in very good condition considering the amount of rain that had fallen. However the Club catering let itself down, about 150 people attended the event and could not get any food until 9.15 on all the days. Most people have had to travel up to 1 to 3 hours to attend and were hungry, very poor. The club has lost a significant amount of revenue and caused a lot of people to go HUNGRY.
