The Executive and Emergency Committee were working late Monday night to look at how we can respond to the latest Government advice, and up to 10.25pm we were hoping to keep the course open to play under the "one form of exercise a day" exception, and reducing the format to two balls only. We were about to make the decision when it got taken away from us by England Golf and their advice, that under the new directive given by the Government that ALL golf clubs MUST close.
It is difficult times for all of us and the health, safety and wellbeing of our members, visitors and staff is paramount to us all and although we regret the decision it has been with some relief as we continued to look at ways we could keep our members safe from this horrible virus and the severe consequences of it.

Always like to visit. Many thanks to James the professional foe all his help, also to the two ladies in the kitchen for looking after us well and to the lady in the bar. Altogether a lovely way to spend a day.
The course was wet which is understandable but always a pleasure to play and a really good layout

Played a round on a Tuesday around 11:00. £25 green fee plus £25 for buggy.
Arrived around 09:00 and found the club house closed. On Tuesdays food isn't served until 10:30 which was disappointing.
However I returned at 10:30 after visiting a local cafe. The female pro was very friendly and welcoming.
The course itself is in really good condition. Best fairways I've played in a while. My only critism is the ground staff weren't very considerate when you're putting.
Overall great value for money, just a shame about breakfast.
