First time I've played Castle Eden but I think I'll be returning. One of the most visually attractive courses I've played in the North East that provides a good challenge for most golfers. Excellent clubhouse that overlooks the course and a good pro shop.

Lovely place for a walk with well maintained greens and pathways and as an added bonus I've heard a rumour that you can even play a game called whack & chase whereby you hit a small white ball with a metal ended stick then go in search of said ball. Look very closely as it might fall down a hole marked with a flagpole.

Played mid November 2018. Course in great condition for this time of year. Great layout. Plenty of opportunities to score points. Caters for all handicaps.Paid £20 green fee. Friendly Staff. Well stocked Club shop. Pleasant bar. Decent Menu.i would love to return and play it in the summer months, however the green fees In the summer are £30 midweek and I would not pay that. It's a £25 max midweek course.
