Goodly Dale Primary School
Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, responsible, active and resilient citizens in modern Britain. Pupils enjoy and achieve success irrespective of ability, race or gender.

Goodly Dale is an inclusive and values based school that nurtures curiosity and creativity through an inspiring, broad and engaging curriculum where well-being, learning and the community are at the heart of everything we do. Everyone is challenged and encouraged to achieve their best as individuals and to build friendships across our small school.
Services
At Goodly Dale we recognise the importance of knowing every child and work hard to foster the vital partnership between home and school. Parents and visitors to our school often comment on the warm and friendly welcome in our school. We aim for every child to have a happy, active and enriched primary education in an environment that is caring and supportive.
For teachers to have the opportunity and resources to 'build on success' and improve teaching to the benefit of the children, whilst achieving their own personal goals. Regularly review and refresh the School Development Plan to ensure challenging targets are set and achieved. Ensure the consistent and regular monitoring of the standards of teaching, learning and pupil assessment (both formal and informal).
Our governing body has twelve volunteer governors who bring with them a wide range of professional skills, knowledge and experience to support the school in achieving its vision. With the exception of Pay Review which meets once a year, all these committees meet only as required and in exceptional circumstances.
Please note: If you are in receipt of working tax credits you may not be eligible for free school meals or clothing grants. Children who receive Income Support or Income Based Jobseekers Allowance in their own right are also entitled to receive Free School Meals.
