A warm welcome to Wray with Botton Endowed Primary School. We are a happy and friendly community who put the children in our care at the very heart of everything we do. Our aim is to provide the very best education in an exciting, wonderfully creative, safe and secure environment. Our school dates back to 1684.

The School building was restored in 1885 and has been tenderly cared for over the years. It is in good condition, amply housing our 54 children and the staff. We are located in a spectacular area of the Lune Valley surrounded by the most beautiful countryside. We use this to our advantage on a daily basis.
Services
Wray School PTA is a voluntary organisation made up of parents and guardians of the children attending Wray Endowed Primary School, and the teaching staff. You will automatically become a member of the PTA, unless you choose to opt out. All members are welcome to attend any meetings that are held, vote on proposals and make suggestions for spending or raising funds.
We are pleased to report that following our recent visit from Ofsted, we continue to be a GOOD performing school. Our report is available to view here. A huge thanks to all the children who were fantastic throughout the inspection and to the parents who contributed to the feedback. A huge thank you for my very kind gift that was given to me from the wonderful PTA at Wray.
At Wray with Botton Endowed Primary School we will provide a safe, inclusive and happy environment where children will be valued, challenged and encouraged to meet their full potential through the provision of a creative curriculum. This will be achieved through positive partnership with pupils, staff, parents, governors and the wider village community.
Class 1 teaching is shared between Mrs Rebecca King, the lead teacher, and Mrs Anne Phillips. They work alongside the Higher Level Teaching Assistant Mrs Hazel Lewis and Mrs Sarah Cook. We offer different strengths across the curriculum providing a broad enriching educational experience for the children.
Class 2 is our Year 2 and 3 class. The class teacher is Mrs Norton who works closely with the Class 2 teaching assistant, Mrs Wood. Class 2 is a great transition from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2. We balance formal working time with more creative opportunities and self-chosen activities. We aim to always try our best and be positive about our learning.
