Services
Brough School was established in 1875, and serves a large area from Stainmore to Musgrave. The school has four main classroom areas, library and a large hall, plus additional teaching areas where groups or individual pupils can work. All classrooms utilise interactive whiteboards and children work 1-1 with devices such as Ipads and Chromebooks to enable digital literacy.
Fees: Early Years Funding is available for children the term after their 3rd birthday. This entitles a child to 15 hours per week free, or 30 hours for eligible families, that may be taken flexibly during the week. All other fees are 3.00 per hour. We are also registered provider for funded eligible 2 year olds.
Provision for breakfast and after school clubs at Brough Community Primary School is an important facility that benefits both children and parents, in providing essential care during the week. This wraparound is there as an enhancement to our statutory regulations but falls within all normal operating procedures of the school, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and health and safety regulations.
If you are concerned that a child or young person is in an emergency situation you should contact the police urgently on 999. Outside office hours - If your concern is outside of normal working hours (8 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday and 8 am to 4.30 pm Friday) or a weekend / Bank Holiday, please contact the Emergency Duty Team on 0333 240 1727.
