RSA SpLD (Dyslexia) provides enjoyable, structured activities for children aged 3 and 4 years to aid the development of their early language, listening, reading, writing and number work skills. A maximum of 4 children attend in each group, which ensures plenty of individual attention and helps concentration.
Each group have a one and a half hour session once a week during term time, so the children can attend in addition to other Pre-school activities. Skills Club compliments regular nurseries and pre-school playgroups and helps children to start school with increased confidence and enhanced learning skills.

During each session the children take part in about five different activities, which aid the development of their language, listening, reading, writing and number work skills.
The children enjoy taking part in a range of activities within the setting and make effective strides in their development because the provider has a good understanding of how the children learn most effectively. The children develop suitable confidence and self esteem as the provider respects their individual needs.
