We commonly accept session blocks as follows: 5 mornings, 5 afternoons, 2 full days (including breakfast and lunch club) for 15 hours and 4 full days (including breakfast and lunch club) for 30 hours. These session blocks tie up with the 15 or 30 funded hours, which most parents may be entitled to claim.
We can occasionally accept other session block combinations, subject to individual discussion during the admissions process. Breakfast club is an additional charge of 4.60 per day to cover the supervision of children. Breakfast foods are provided. Both clubs can be included in paying and funded hours and we offer limited places that can be booked on a first come, first served basis.

We believe that children flourish best in an environment that is rich in encouragement and positive attitudes. We achieve this through high expectations of the children, by discussing behaviour and being consistent and fair when working with the children. We have clear simple rules known as Spot's Rules, which are displayed in our settings.

At Riverside Pre School we employ an enthusiastic staff team who go beyond the call of duty to ensure your child is nurtured and looked after to a high standard. All our staff hold current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks. The ratio of staff to children is 1:8 for over 3's, although we always try to work to a ratio of 1:6, and 1:4 for under 3's.
