Tarantella is an elegant restaurant serving fresh, modern Italian-style cuisine with Italian beer on tap, cocktails and a wide range of quality wines. We are open Wednesday - Saturday: 4pm - 9pm and are happy to cater for vegetarian, gluten-free and other dietary requirements. Visited midweek without a reservation but we were quickly offered a table, even though the restaurant was quite busy.

The service was attentive, friendly and efficient and the food (Calzone with spicy sausage and goat's cheese and smoked haddock risotto) was delicious and certainly a notch above your average Italian eatery. As were the prices, but we'll worth it for the quality on offer.

Dropped in without a booking, table sorted we settled down to look at the menu. I had penne pasta with chicken and chorizo, daughter had taggleatelle with steak - both meals arrived steaming hot and absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Proper tasty Italian food. fresh ingredients. my stuffed pepper risotto with beetroot was super. As usual an outstanding meal at a first class restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

The staff were very rude. We were at the door for more than 15 minutos until one waitress asked us what we wanted. The restaurant was almost empty it only has 2 couple. We asked for a table for 2. The waitress shouted all table are booked in very rude way. The problem was not that the tabled were booked it was the way they treated us

Had a lovely meal this evening at Tarantella, the food and staff were excellent as usual. If you’re a little nervous about dining out during these times this restaurant is one of the most covid secure places I have been, the table are spaced out really well, staff all in masks plenty and room when needing to walk to the loo or to enter and exist, at no point did I feel uncomfortable or over crowded. Well done Tarantella 👌

Our favourite restaurant. The food is fantastic. Very flavoursome and filling. The staff are brilliant, always pleasant and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. If you haven't been here yet, you really should, it's amazing. To avoid disappointment, I'd recommend making a reservation as they do get busy. 😊
