La Mezzaluna is a truly traditional Italian restaurant in Carlisle offering a selection of starters, main courses and desserts in a unique atmosphere. We are the ideal location for a spontaneous outing, a romantic dinner for two or a group get together. We can comfortably accommodate up to 45 diners in our welcoming restaurant and after just over three years here, have a thriving and regular clientele.
Slices of traditional Italian bread, topped with seasoned chopped tomatoes, onions & basil. Garlic bread with a topping of red onion, mozzarella cheese, tomato, sliced salsiccia piccante or a mixture of each. Local button mushrooms stuffed with mozzarella cheese, fresh herbs & garlic, breaded & deep fried & served with sizzling garlic butter.

Found this beautiful Italian restaurant for lunch yesterday! They very kindly fitted in is. The service, food and surroundings were amazing! Our meals were absolutely delicious, we both had pasta dishes with a side of the best garlic bread I have ever tasted! The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly too. Will definitely be back. Thank you 😊
