HCA Pre-School is part of a charitable organisation within the Hullbridge Community Association, teaching and caring for the children of Hullbridge since 1973. The HCA committee is responsible for our financial position and relies mainly on government funding and child fees.
The HCA Committee who, alongside the manager of the pre-school, are responsible for implementing the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage thus ensuring good practice.The HCA Committee is responsible for the employment of all staff who are CRB checked. The Pre-School operates in accordance with Ofsted legislation and is registered as full day care.

Services
There are seven areas of learning and development which are important and inter-connected for young children. At HCA Pre-School we cover each of these areas following the Ofsted Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. Involves giving children opportunities to experience a rich language environment to develop their confidence and skills in expressing themselves and to speak and listen in a range of situations.
There is a registration fee of 5.00 which includes a blue slipper bag. Each term there is charge of 5.00 towards supplying fresh fruit and healthy food for snack time. Parents/ Carers will receive an invoice at the beginning of each term. Fees are payable if a child does not attend and must be paid promptly during the week you receive the invoice.
Any jewellery worn by your child to Pre-School can be dangerous when children are playing and we cannot be held responsible for any loss or injury resulting from this, therefore we would ask that children with their ears pierced only wear studs.
We need to know beforehand if anyone unknown to us is to collect your child and would be grateful if you could make their identity clear to us before they arrive and also write their name and relationship to the child in the book provided on the front desk.Any person under the age of 16 years will not be allowed to collect a child from Pre-School premises.
