We are a Committee run, charity based Pre-school. We operate five days a week - Monday to Friday. Our hours are 8.50am to 11.20am and 12 noon to 3.00pm. The Pre-school is registered for 43 children, 26 in the main demountable and 17 children in a separate demountable belonging to Woodville Primary School.
A committee is elected on an annual basis. The committee consists of three officers; Chair, Treasurer and Secretary plus other members to assist the officers. The Committee is drawn from parents whose children are attending the pre-school and members of the community interested in supporting the aims of the preschool.
Our main building is a purpose built demountable building which consists of one large and one small room, a kitchen, child-sized toilets, and an accessible toilet. Access to our premises is through large gates on Brent Avenue. We currently have 12 members of staff.

The main consideration of all the Pre-school staff is the well-being and happiness of their small charges. As a parent, if you are worried or puzzled by anything, please do not hesitate to speak to them. We have an open door policy, whereby you can have an informal/formal chat whenever needed. We are very keen to build up friendly relationships with parents/carers, as it allows the children to settle quicker and enjoy Pre-school to the full.
It is our intention to make our setting accessible to children and families from all sections of the local community. We aim to ensure that all sections of our community have access to the setting through open, fair and clearly communicated procedures. We describe our setting and its practices in terms that make it clear that it welcomes both fathers and mothers, other relations and other carers including childminders.
