The Fledgelings Preschool began in 1998 under the ownership of Tile Kiln Church. It was previously known as the Gooding Nursery School. The Church sees the preschool as a valuable part of its service to Tile Kiln Community and beyond, with its Christian ethos underpinning the day-to-day running. To provide good quality care and education at an affordable price, for children aged between two years and statutory school age.

Services
At The Fledgelings Preschool we promote an atmosphere of Christian love and value in a safe, secure and stimulating environment to develop positive relationships where each unique child can learn and develop following the Early Years Foundation Stage guidance. We work in partnership with parents and provide opportunities for you and your family to be directly involved in your own child's progress.
Every Child Matters is a government initiative which aims to facilitate the well-being of children and young people from birth to age 19. The strategy focuses on bringing together services to support children and families. The Fledgelings Preschool sets out to safeguard and ensure the welfare of all of our children.
We offer a flexible programme of sessions, with mornings or full days as an option, so you can work out what best suits you and your child. It is important to note, however, that what we can offer is dependant on the places available at the time, and so we may not be able to initially offer you your full funding entitlement.
Please note: Free Early Education Entitlement is currently 15 hours per week over 38 weeks of a year for all. The year is the Financial Year, and runs from the summer term until the spring term. In order to keep our fees accessible for everyone, we rely on fundraising for those little extras at Fledgelings, such as subsidising trips out and paying for equipment.
