We are a committee run pre-school with charitable status, we rely solely on fundraising events to provide our children with the equipment needed to grow as individuals! We are a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance and are governed by ofsted. We cater for children from 2 to 5 years of age. Each half term we have weekly themes which we encourage the children to bring an item from home to match the theme.
Themes include: Animals, Colours, Shapes, letters of the alphabet and many more! See below for some of the new Pre-School branding gallery, which was put together by Kika Mitchell Photography Chelmsford Photographer (see http://www.kikamitchellphotography.co.uk), on behalf of the Pre-School Committee.

We follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum, our setting uses the Development Matters in the Early Years Foundation Stage guidance to plan and provide a range of play activities, which help children to make progress in each of the areas of learning and development.
In some of these activities, children decide how they will use the activity and, in others, an adult takes the lead in helping the children to take part in the activity. In all activities, information from 'Development Matters' the Early Years Foundation Stage has been used to decide what equipment to provide and how to provide it.

We have now created our new uniform and changed to the more practical colour of navy blue. The uniform consists of a Hoody and a T-Shirt and although not compulsory it is handy. Please speak to the staff if you have any queries or issues. Catch up on all the latest news and topics covered this week at preschool by reading our Newsletters.

Every child is a unique child who is constantly learning and can be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured. Children learn and develop well in enabling environments, in which their experiences respond to their individual needs and there is a strong partnership between practitioners and parents and carers.
