Beckmead House is ideally situated just five minutes walk from the centre of Windermere village. We are a family run guest house with quality accommodation, and a relaxed friendly atmosphere. We're proud to say that we were awarded for our quality services in this year's Winderemere In Bloom competition!

We have a choice of double or twin bedded rooms with either ensuite or private showers, all are centrally heated, tastefully decorated and have colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers and a range of toiletries.

Each room has colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers and a range of toiletries. Breakfast is served daily in the dining room between 8 and 9.00am(or earlier by arrangement). You have a choice of fruit juices, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, followed by a hearty English breakfast to start off your day.

Windermere is situated in the heart of England's beautiful Lake District, it is an ideal base from which to plan your holiday. If you love the outdoors there are countless walks amidst beautiful scenery, boating on a number of lakes, horse riding, cycling, golf and much more. For the younger members of the family you will find South Lakes Wildlife Park, The World of Beatrix Potter and The Aquarium of the Lakes.

Really friendly and great breakfast. The location to Windermere is perfect, 2 minute walk to the centre. Really good customer service, we left a few items in the room and they rang us to arrange for us to come and collect them. Thank you!

I know it was last month my husband and I were at this beautiful place but the service was excellent real homely feel to it and the guy who was serving breakfast charming and well dressed couldn't fault this place and if you needed help to find out any information only to glad to help lovely people
