At Meadfoot Guest house Windermere we don't employ any creative camera angles to boost the appearance of what we offer. The photos and text are a realistic appraisal of our Windermere guest house. We show all our bedrooms, not just a selection of the "best" ones. In addition, our prices remain very reasonable for the quality compared to the average Windermere guest house accommodation.

Great location, within walking distance cafes, bars, restaurants and lake Windermere.
Our rooms was comfortable, tea, coffee, tv and comfortable bed. Car parking available.
Great breakfast choice and was good breakfast.
Hosts very nice and welcoming. Told us about local walk off the main road for walking down to the marina.
I would definitely stay again.

The room and bathroom were very nice and clean. Gail & Steve were excellent hosts - friendly, chatty, and very knowledgeable about the local area. Their breakfasts were above and beyond and they went out of their way to cater for dietary needs (vegan). Will be hoping to book with them again when we next visit the Lakes.
