We are a pre-school and nursery for children aged 2 years upwards, based out of purpose built premises within the grounds of Manor Primary School, situated in Uckfield, East Sussex. Manor Twiglets is a fantastic and exciting opportunity for your child and we offer term-time and holiday care for 50 weeks of the year with flexible sessions available.
This includes a Holiday Club and an After School Club for children aged between 2 to 11 years. We work very closely with Manor Primary School and other schools in the area to integrate with their Foundation Stage and liaise with teachers. This close partnership maximises your child's learning and helps to prepare and ease the transition from Nursery to the Foundation Stage at school.

Services
Preparing children to move onto all areas of the National Curriculum at the end of their Foundation Stage year. The government combined the 'Birth to Three Matters Framework', 'Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage' and the 'National Standards for Under 8s Day Care and Childminding'. These frameworks have been replaced by a statutory (legal) framework called 'Early Years Foundation Stage' (EYFS).
We offer a Holiday Club during school holidays for 2-11 year olds, offering a variety of activities to suit all ages and stages of development and open from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. We are unable to provide a hot food option during the Holiday Club so please provide a packed lunch for your child.
We offer an extended service for 2-11 year olds to provide care for after school hours, from 3pm up to 6pm, 5 days a week, during term time. The After School Club offers a range of activities for all ages and stages of development. We are happy to collect children from Manor Primary School (please see our policy for more details).
We encourage the parent/carer to attend a 'settling-in' session with their child. This session is an opportunity to meet the staff. The Manager and Deputy Manager will ask you some questions about your child to help them settle in. It is also an ideal opportunity for you to ask questions and address any concerns that you may have.
If you wish to withdraw your child from Manor Twiglets, you are required to give us two weeks notice. During busy periods we will offer as many hours as we can to fulfill the entitlement. If you are unable to take up your full entitlement with us, you are able to claim the rest of your entitlement at a different setting should you wish to.
